My kids are having a boring summer- on purpose. I'm letting them do whatever they want to (well, except for chores- a medieval system of torture, judging by the groans and howls whenever it comes up). I'm not enriching them (monetarily either- see above, re: chores). I'm not tutoring them. I'm not limiting video and computer games to 15.7 minutes a day. I'm not enforcing the now extinct rule against popsicles in the house. And yup. They frequently complain that they are bored. And yup. Mom, MOM! S wonder...

We were in Lexington staying with friends (THANK YOU Tracye, Joe and Lexie! Carlow's surgery went really well we won't get to see his hands until Feb. 24, 2009. But the Dr. told us that his little finger that wouldn't bend is now bending and looks like the removal of the small polydactyly was all that was needed. God BLess you all and Hug your family today.
