I’m tired most of the time and I worry about money and the health of my child. My house is messy. The laundry is strewn all over the floor and I’m not sure which pile, if any, is clean. I found an apple under Jax’s bed yesterday. It was so moldy that I almost didn’t recognize what it was. No one told me how hard it would be to be a parent.

It’s also exhausting, and confusing, and loud, and uncomfortable. You and I both know that it’s awful it is to have a child in the hospital. Our son spent 93 days in the NICU. It felt like the longest 3 months of our lives. Looking back, it’s almost impossible to believe that we made it through! And running circles around me!
