Friday, 26 September 2008. Youth Education Ministry - Success Definitions. Youth ministry can be very, very tough. Oh, I'm not talking about ministering to young people who are actually going to church on any kind of regular basis. That's fantastic. And I'm not talking about organising a youth group with young people who are barely involved in the church. I assume that's hard, too, but I have no personal experience (and the two are probably linked). So how do you measure success in that kind of context?

A common problem that people have with both the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Trinitarian Theology), and with the two natures of Christ (Christology) is the very simple idea of maths. Either way, trying to reconcile 1 1 1=1 or 1 1=1 doesn't work (short of trippy, funky maths which, aside from being beyond my understanding, is really rather beside the point). Friday, 30 January 2009. Christ and the two sides of DNA. We have a problem whenever we look at the Incarnation of Christ. Our research into DNA tells us that we get about half of our genetic code from our mother, and about half of our genetic code from our father. Perhaps this will give us an understanding of why we keep referencing Adam. God created Adam (through Word) - whole, complete, pure. In this same way, the other half of the DNA would be Adam-esque - a human before the Fall. Love is the new law.
