Tuesday, March 31, 2015. My Heart Still Hurts. Today marks 4 years since I said goodbye to the most important woman in my life. As I sit here typing this I cannot believe that it has already been 4 years. Some days I feel like it was just yesterday and others I feel like it has been much longer. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her and wish dearly that she was still here with us. I hope that I have made her proud over the last several years, I hope that we all have! Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Now that we've got a new puppy in the house, we've certainly come to appreciate quick and easy meals that can be prepared ahead and eaten all week in various configuration. Over the weekend, we treated ourselves to a rotisserie chicken from Wholefoods and made a big batch of Waldorf Chicken Salad. Simply delicious. 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken. 1/4 cup mayonnaise, or miracle whip dressing. 1 small apple, cored and chopped. 1/2 cup red seedless grapes, halved. Monday, May 21, 2012.

Και όμως, πολλά από αυτά τα παρακμιακά της Ευρώπης δείχνουν πολυτέλειες, αν σκεφθεί κανείς το Χαλέπι, τη Μοσούλη, τη Λιβύη (που έχει ξεχαστεί). Και αν το βλέμμα στραφεί και δίπλα μας, στην αλλοπρόσαλλη και βίαιη Τουρκία του Ταγίπ Ερντογάν όπου ο αυταρχισμός και η τρομοκρατία ανταλλάσσουν τεχνογνωσία σε συνθήκες πολιτικής ασφυξίας. Ισως λοιπόν η παραδοσιακή λέξη.
