Lil Bits Project 365 +1 - 2008 through my eyes: Day 157 - The pause that refreshes
http://lilbits365.blogspot.com/2008/06/day-157-pause-that-refreshes.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. Day 157 - The pause that refreshes. With the temperature climbing upwards to almost 90 today, and the humidity climbing right up there with it, we stopped by the Frederick Ice Cream Co. to enjoy a refreshing ice cream cone. Lew had a German chocolate cake cone and mine was a p'nutty cone - butter pecan ice cream with various nuts, chunks of chocolate, and caramel mixed in. Yumm-ee! You may remember the chicly attired bear. Ice cream for breakfast? Stacy at Exceedingly Mundane.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. 6:30 am - Take Skeeter to work. 7:15 am - Back home, unpack car, take shower. 8:30 am - Take urchins to McDonalds for breakfast. Because I promised in a moment of weakness. 9:30 am - Volunteer at food pantry. 1:15 pm - Leave food pantry. Stop home for a snack and to gather the library DVDs. 1:25 pm - Library. 2:10 pm - Home from library. Start laundry in washer. Sass conks out on the couch. Spyder starts reading his book. I sit for mindless computer time. 11:20 pm - Give up beca...
Thoughts from my noodle: July 2009
http://frommynoodle.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. My 11 year old took this Science Knowledge Quiz. My 11 year old. And he scored better than 90% of the people who have taken it? Considering the questions, that worries me. In all truth, he did ask me about one question, so I suppose technically we collectively scored 12 out of 12. But still, he would have gotten 11 of the 12 correct without me. H/T to The Common Room. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Flight of the Bumblebee. Accordion style. Pretty amazing, actually. How about some A1?
Thoughts from my noodle: Facebook
http://frommynoodle.blogspot.com/2011/06/facebook.html
Wednesday, June 08, 2011. I think I'm over the whole Facebook phenomenon. I have an account, as do (it seems) most people in the electronically gifted world. Checking what other people are saying seems to be almost a necessity, since . well, I'll get to that in a moment. But as a forum? I think I'm about finished. Then more and more people found me, and it was nice hearing from old friends. Unfortunately, those old friends don't post much. For this man is shocking. Skeeter had been in town, gotten a ...
Thoughts from my noodle: Manners
http://frommynoodle.blogspot.com/2011/02/manners.html
Wednesday, February 09, 2011. I've never truly lived in the suburbs before. We lived in midtown Memphis, then we moved to a suburb of Memphis, but it wasn't The Suburbs as I had seen portrayed in movies. The houses were all older and different from one another, on unevenly spaced plots of land. That was our old neighborhood. Now, we DO live in one of those neighborhoods that looks like a movie set. Every time I hear the "Over the Hedge" version of " Rockin' the Suburbs. The dogs in action, but I'm cleani...

Monday, December 29, 2008. Day 362 - No Rudolph here. Red nose or otherwise! The glow from the overhead accent light made this little gold guy sparkle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a nice lady with a nice hubby and 2 relatively nice cats. This is where I talk about bits and pieces of the world I live in - good, bad, and indifferent - sprinkled with love, whimsy, wisdom, and a bit of nonsense. View my complete profile. Lil Bits Project 365 +1 - 2008 through my eyes: Day 363 - Still another ruminant
http://lilbits365.blogspot.com/2008/12/day-363-still-another-ruminant.html
Monday, December 29, 2008. Day 363 - Still another ruminant. Struggling to come up with new subject matter, Lew jokingly suggested I do a deer a day. Not feeling terribly creative, I took him up on it! So, here's another of our Christmas decorations. This one's grazing on dust particles atop the buffet. ;). I don't know what struck me so funny about that, but thanks for sharing the deer and the laugh! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. More Project 365 Bloggers. Laughing Through The Tears: Evolution of Dance
http://laughingthroughthetears.blogspot.com/2008/06/evolution-of-dance.html
Laughing Through The Tears. Don't be frightened by first impressions.I may turn out to be your new best friend! I'm crazy and I love to laugh and have a good time. But I am also a great listener and am here to help and encourage others by praying and being there for them! In my world laughter is important! I can be in pain (like today) and be a tad bit irritable, but when I watch stuff like this I cannot help but break out into an obnoxious loud laugh with a snort or two! That guy can seriously dance too!

A New American Paradigm. A forum to discuss ways to adapt to a changing America: money, personal, and ways to make one's life simpler. Monday, May 11, 2009.
