The World is my Garden. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I'm almost done . I can't believe it. It's April 21st and I'm almost done prepping the gardens. I believe this is a first. I started working on the gardens 8 years ago. Slowly I've increased the gardens every year. 2008 was the deck. That was one HUGE undertaking. It took all freaking summer with all the rains we had. The World is my Garden. Monday, September 21, 2009. Never thought I'd say this, this year, but rain! And it's the perfect kind of rain . steady, but fairly light. I know there will be days I'm praying for rain, but now for, this can stop. and apparently it's supposed to. it's been raining for the better part of 2 days now. which I realize could be a heck of a lot worse. The World is my Garden. Sunday, May 2, 2010. The O'Shea Gardens . I can't believe it's only the 2nd of May, and I'm almost done all my garden chores . I thought I'd share some pictures I took this afternoon. I don't know what happened here. there are no red tulips around . View from our patio down the slope. The World is my Garden. Sunday, April 18, 2010. It's finally Spring and I've completed most of my clean up/preparation for the upcoming garden season. It's mid-April here in the Toronto area and the weather the past 6 weeks has been amazing! It's going to replace this . Can't wait . I have the sweetest husband ever. Last week was a really off week for me. I just felt generally icky, and down, and did not have the best self image. It happens.
