Unfortunately, it was Martin Luther King Day on the Monday, so lots of people had a long weekend, and they advertised the snowfall on the radio (we got twice as much as Vail) so the parking was on both sides of the Highway as far as the eye could see! Still, we managed to find a few spots the regular tourists didn't get to first. Some people were more sensible and stayed on the path ;o). Monday, November 27, 2006. Storm warning in place for this evening until Wednesday morning! Fingers crossed, as conditions are decidedly 'early-season'! Not horrendous by any stretch of the imagination, but with warm temperatures, grooming and only 2 main chairs open, bare patches are beginning to be a possibility, along with hardpacked manmade snow, on the lower slopes.
