Our Oliphant Herd: Changes to Madison
http://oliphantherd.blogspot.com/2015/03/changes-to-madison.html
We have a herd of oliphants. It grows and shrinks as any herd would, but overall it grows. These are the stories of our herd. I was thinking today as I walked up to the elementary school, that I needed to run to the Re-Store - which has moved to a less convenient location. This led to me thinking about other businesses that have changed location over the years we have been in Madison and whether it was a good move or "less convenient." These are the ones I came up with. Movies - We usually went to the tw...

Meghan's Life: June 2008
http://mathmeg.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 20, 2008. Yesterday, for the first time in over six months I was able to play the cello. It still hurt, and I wasn't able to play at the level I am used to, but it is just so exciting to actually be able to play again. That's all I wanted to say for now. Monday, June 16, 2008. Meghan's Life: July 2009
http://mathmeg.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. So, we had a great deal of fun at the Renaissance Faire. I got a crown, which I love. Lisa got her hair braided this year, and Tim finally found a green cloak. He was very excited. I also found some beautiful Celtic jewlery. It was nice to get out and do something fun. Friday, July 10, 2009. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Since my camera actually did work for this part. Http:/ picasaweb.google.com/megdewitt/Sailing? The Camera Battery just HAD to die. I'll leave it up to your imaginations.

Our Oliphant Herd: Just a Housewife
http://oliphantherd.blogspot.com/2014/12/just-housewife.html
We have a herd of oliphants. It grows and shrinks as any herd would, but overall it grows. These are the stories of our herd. This morning I found on the kitchen floor a paper that I taped up in the kitchen nearly 5 years ago. It is a little worse for the wear, but it still represents the sentiment as well as ever. While I have never referred to myself as a housewife when I could help it - I always preferred the term Home Maker - the idea is the same to most. Posted by Mama Mie. An Elephant Never Forgets.

Meghan's Life: June 2009
http://mathmeg.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 4, 2009. Last Saturday I went with two friends to go and play in Chicago. We spent most of the day in the Chicago Institute of Art and then went to the Sear's Tower and Navy Pier, an carnival area. It was great fun to finally get to do some of the touristy things in Chicago. Usually when I go I have a specific thing to see and don't have time for much else. The view from the top of the Ferris Wheel. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My most adorible kitten. Afternoons reading by the lake. Daisie...

Meghan's Life: October 2008
http://mathmeg.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2008. I always knew she was a weird cat. Craziness at a Party. So this is some of the craziness we get up to at ward parties. My friend Emily (the one in the yellow) is going home in preparation for her mission so we had a going away party. This apparently meant seeing just how many people can fit on a two seater couch. Ethan thought it was funnier when he was lying on top of all of us. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Also, I found a way for the department to buy me a plane ticket for a ...

Our Oliphant Herd: 2013-04
http://oliphantherd.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
We have a herd of oliphants. It grows and shrinks as any herd would, but overall it grows. These are the stories of our herd. The End of an Era. We recently celebrated a big milestone in our family. After 28 years of having children in some sort of car seat, we are finally finished with them! A few years later we invested in a new rear facing infant seat. This one had a handle so you could carry a baby, still in their seat, with one hand! Similar design to our set with seat and stroller. The design of ou...

Our Oliphant Herd: 2013-07
http://oliphantherd.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
We have a herd of oliphants. It grows and shrinks as any herd would, but overall it grows. These are the stories of our herd. End of Another Era! We seem to be at some sort of milestone stage, two "era's" ending in the same year. Not long after we got a little Toyota for all the driving when we had 5 or fewer people, to save on gas money and the joy of parking a 12 passenger van. All of the kids living at home currently don't remember any other van, than the "Great White" van. And today I sold it. Kim, C...

Our Oliphant Herd: 2013-03
http://oliphantherd.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
We have a herd of oliphants. It grows and shrinks as any herd would, but overall it grows. These are the stories of our herd. It's snowing in Madison. It has been all day. I just finished shoveling about 5" of snow off the driveway, and you can't see my footprints where I started. Definitely a winter day. While I was outside I heard song birds, singing and chirping. They sounded cheerful. Just from the sound of them I would have thought it was spring. Now which is it? Posted by Mama Mie.
