I started early (at 4:00) so they'd be ready by about 5:00. Well, I was breading the last piece of chicken when I heard a 'poof' sound. I looked over and my pot of oil was on fire! How the Days Fly By. October 25, 2012. Hi, I'm 40, act like i'm 3 and I'm a jerk! I'm thinking about making my blog private. Most people do that so they can post about their adorable children. I need to do it so that I can post all the crazy stories about adults who act like children. Seriously I sometimes need to vent about insane people and get sympathy and reassurance about myself so that I know I'm not a rude jerk and that it's ok to hang up on people who act like 3 year olds. How the Days Fly By. February 25, 2012. Every year when I was a kid, I would come home from school on Valentines day to my bed made, a plate with a cookie on it and a balloon next to that plate. And the cookie always had my name on it - literally! I always looked forward to Valentines day because it is the season of the best home made sugar cookies EVER! And having my bed made was fabulous. But I can't wait to have kids of my own because I will for sure be continuing that tradition. And they are awesome!
