These cupcakes are great if you need a little pick-me-up! 2 C flour, sifted. 2 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 C hot coffee. 2 C brown sugar. Approx 4 C powdered sugar, sifted. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat, then add brown sugar. stir constantly for 2 minutes. add milk, and continue to stir until mixture comes to a boil.(i ended up turning up the heat to medium here to move the process along! Tuesday, March 1, 2011. My little girl turns five today! To celebrate, i made fairy cupcakes for her to bring to school! The cupcakes are vanilla cake with vanilla butter cream. i used flower cupcake papers by wilton and the fairy picks were found HERE. Later tonight we'll have cake at grandma and grandpa's house! I had chocolate chip cookie dough in the freezer(use your favorite recipe, or dare i say, pre made mix? I took the dough out and a let it come to room temp. i roughly chopped the cups, and gently mixed them into the dough. scoop and bake.i DARE you to wait until they are cool! Thursday, January 28, 2010. I mean it. Easy. E….Z…. Peach Crunch Cake. You need some sliced peaches in syrup. Just dump them in a 13 X 9 dish. Syrup and all. Note: this can also be called a dump cake. But that doesn’t sound all that pretty. Cut the peaches into smaller pieces and you can distribute them more evenly. Next up, you need a yellow cake mix. Sprinkle it right over the top of the peaches. No mixing. None. Keep sprinkling until it’s all covered up. Then layer 1 stick of butter right on the top.
