https://aguisto.wordpress.com/2010/05/02/pppm-post-4
Just another WordPress.com weblog. This week we will discuss Advocacy, Arts and Culture in PPPM. I am not a person that has a fine vocab, so when I thought Advocacy, I didnt have a clear definition of what is meant. So before reading into this chapter I looked up the word in my handy dandy dictionary. (someday i will read this dictionary to enlarge my knowledge of words… someday). Advocate: one who speaks or writes in support of another or a cause. I think most of these organizations do well in society e...

Andrew's Nonprofit Blog. With restricted budgets, it is important for nonprofits to focus on enabling, rather than implementing. Instead of direct assistance determined by central governments and outside funders, nonprofit work must start from the ground up. Excellent post, ...

Amber's journey to personal fulfillment. I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Marilyn Monroe. May 4, 2010. Laquo; Health Care. Also worth considering; in the past 30 years, many of the family wage jobs in America (manufacturing and assembly) t...

Caresse's Nonprofit Blog. A blog for PPPM 280. May 14, 2010 • 9:47 PM. Regardless of whether or not the film makes a profit, how is that a wise use of resources? Anyway, I got a little sidetracked. Back to “The Story of Stuff”. When I go shopping, I always try to get the best deal that I can. I mean, why pay more when you can pay less right? I think it will take a complete disaster or catastrophe for people to step up and actually do something about it. It seems to be the only way we learn.
