Sunday, August 2, 2015. A week of celebration. Last week both Megan and I had birthdays. We started out the week celebrating Megan's birthday. She opened her presents first thing in the morning and then had her friend Lucy from church over to play. Megan and Lucy put fruit on Megan's fruit pizza. Normally I make a fruit pizza for my birthday but this year Megan wanted one for her birthday. It is such a yummy summer treat. Then the next day Megan had two friends from school come with us to Idylwood beach.

Friday, July 10, 2015. We are so blessed to live by family. We get together with them several times a year but in the summer we have time to do something extra fun. We went with my sister in law Laura and her four kids to Remlinger Farm fun park in Carnation in June. It was a hot day so we enjoyed a ride in the shade of the train. The roller coaster was definitely their favorite ride. Some of the kids rode it 10 times. There was a fun petting zoo and so I bought some food for the kids to feed the animals.

Friday, May 15, 2015. Our house in lego form. While Nathan builds with legos in his room Holly often builds houses along side him. Recently she made a really cool house (our house) so I wanted to share it with you. She just made the first floor. That big empty room on the left is the garage. We tried to get her to build our cars but she said no. Houses are her specialty not cars. This is the front of our house. She tried to use the correct color when she could. Here is our computer room off of the kitchen.

Thursday, April 16, 2015. A great new book :). Yesterday I started reading a new book and couldn't put it down until I had finished it. I learned about this book in the recent Deseret Book ad. I checked my local library and found out the book was on order so I placed a hold. Less then a week later the book was ready for me to pick up. It just came out in March 2015. Lucky me!
