Since my father still makes fun of women for leaving dead spots in their lawns. So I got out the weedkiller specifically designed for use on lawns. About her yard. Okay, so really she's obsessive. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Just in case you haven't heard, baby socks are evil. I know, they seem so cute and tiny. But that's really just part of their evil plot. Let me rewind a bit just to reassure you that I haven't completely lost it. Last November my washing machine just stopped working, so I had to call a repair man. He took the machine apart and discovered the culprit: a baby sock. So cute in the package. Adorable on the toesies. The darn thing cost me over $100.00. I had some, but had never used them.

Monday, November 22, 2010. It is always nice to go see family for a while, but getting home is always nice too. Eric is starving while dinner cooks. I look over and find him putting leftover spaghetti on a bun. " Spaghetti Sandwich. He says, looking at me like I'm the weird. Then Adam says, " Ding, ding, food time. Later he calls me " Bongo Head. Monday, February 27, 2012. He spent almost a week at the U of U. They stabilized his condition while he was there and assessed his condition. It was a stroke doctor there that suggested that he had Wallenberg Syndrome (WS). WS describes symptoms that patients who have experienced damage to the medulla. Symptoms are so consistent in patients who have had strokes or damage to the medulla that it has its own syndrome named for it. Slurred speech (happily this is the one thing he never had). Tuesday, August 2, 2011. We Will Miss You, Robert. The best cat in the world died yesterday. He suffered from feline leukemia for over a year. He came to us as a stray so we don't know how old he was, but we had ten great years with him. He was a friendly, loving, good bird/gopher catcher, and thought he was a dog kind of a guy.
