I did start this blog post yesterday evening but then never got to finish it. Here it is now with a 'double' portrait of her in one photo below! Saturday night I completed a little dress for Isabella. It started out like this:. An old top of mine, which I converted into a dress for her. I then used this:. Links to this post. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Links to this post. Thursday, November 20, 2014. Isabella's communication skills at 1 year old. More' is now her most used sign! Rubs nose/ mouth sound. Hand to mouth and sniffs. Should sign hand to nose. Wants or sees a hat.

Tuesday, February 3, 2015. I have been missing here on the blog for a long time, I know! Now I regularly change the board to go with the season or holidays or events. Here's our first Autumn scene I did in November. A Christmas scene for December. And a winter scene for January. We'll see how long winter lasts. When there are enough spring flowers out it will be time to change the board again. Links to this post. Labels: Our UK home. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A Portrait a Week.

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Nosey horse peeping over the hedge. She gets to have a 45 minute nap in the morning but after exactly 30 minutes she decided she's had enough. I still had another 20 minutes walk home though. It was a lovely sunny 5C and I even took the rain cover off for the last few minutes of our walk for her to get some fresh air. (The rain cover is on for the cold, not the rain. I don't generally go walking if it's raining.). Links to this post. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She's so sweet...

Britain and beyond: Toddler friendly banana bread
http://anneliesemostert.blogspot.com/2015/05/toddler-friendly-banana.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. Toddler friendly banana bread. Isabella helped me bake a banana bread this morning. Usually I bake it in a muffin tray to have individual muffins for snacks but I made jelly in the muffin tray and not used it all yet. It's toddler friendly because it has no sugar. Not as sweet then obviously but even Andre declared it good enough. Here's the recipe from Jamie Oliver's website. And the best part of baking of course. May 8, 2015 at 7:18 AM. Sunday, May 24, 2015. On Saturday we had a lovely day out to Basildon Park. Where we had a picnic with friends. It was a nice relaxing day, with good weather and well behaved toddlers. It made for some lovely photos too. Oh and our little toddler happened to be 19 months old on Saturday! All photos taken by André of course. Links to this post. Sight seeing in the UK. http://anneliesemostert.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2014. I don't want her to grow up! Isabella is 11 months old today and sometimes I feel a little like this about her growing up so fast:. She gets cuter in different ways and. So I don't have a small cuddly baby but I do have a big cuddly baby with a first birthday coming up soon! Just for fun I put her under her play gym yesterday. Above she was 1 month old and below a day short of 11 months. She wasn't really interested in playing with it! Links to this post. We stopped at this j...

Sunday, August 31, 2014. A Portrait a Week: 35/52 -Family day at the farm. My sister arrived last week and so Mom and Jürgen came for a visit this weekend too. We spent Saturday in London, Isabella's first time there! And today we all went to Bucklebury Farm Park. Isabella and I enjoyed it so much a couple of weeks ago that we decided to take the family there too and so her weekly portrait is from there again! You can read more about Bucklebury Farm Park here. Monday, June 30, 2014. A Portrait a Week: 26/52. I convinced Andre that we should go for a walk on Saturday morning even though it looked like it was about to rain. I said, you never know, it might not and we can't sit at home looking out the window wondering if it might rain or not. Well it rained. It was a great big thunderstorm and we got soaked. Except for Isabella who was very excited to be watching the rain from underneath her rain cover. Links to this post. Labels: A Portrait a Week. And these pho...
