When she saw His hands pierced with nails, did she picture instead the pink chubby hands that used to wrap themselves so tightly around her finger? When she saw the crown of thorns digging into His skull, did she picture instead the downy head she used to lay her cheek against late at night?

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Breakfast on the seashore Sunday. We are now officially Mississippi residents! Moving has had it's ups and downs (and downs) but we're moving on and focusing on the positive. I will try to chronicle our adventures of the last week, because I think they are something I'll want to remember. The military community is wonderful and from the moment I stepped on base I've been embraced and taken care of. We received our base house on Friday, yay! Playing in our temporary house.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Trick or treating is so nice here in Livonia. Kids are always pleasant as are the parents. Each kid always says "thank you" after you give them candy and they are happy with whatever you give them. I even heard them talk about someone giving them a pencil and paper. They thought it was so cool! Trick or treating ended at just the right time. It's starting raining pretty hard. We came in changed had some chili and watched Charlie Brown Halloween! Tuesday, August 19, 2014. What a busy, crazy, fun month April was! At the end of March, the kids and I drove to Chicago for my brother's graduation from the Illinois Police Academy.
