Spring 2015 Family Photos. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. One of my indulgences is family photos. I know, right? There is just something warm and fuzzy about having current family (and Beckett) photos around the house. So when the wildflowers started popping up it was due time for some new pics! Kristen did an amazing job, per usual, capturing our sweet Beckett. He cooperated and everything! Here are a few of our faves! If you need a photographer in the DFW, I highly recommend Kristen Hafner Photography.

Friday, May 15, 2015. Yes, you read that correctly. Oreo Cookie Butter! This recipe actually works with any type of cookie, so just imagine the possibilities! Package of Oreos (or thin mints, or peanut butter cookies, or chocolate chip cookies! 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) of butter. 1/2 cup of condensed, sweetened milk. 1/4 cup evaporated milk. Start with the cookies. now the recipe I adapted. Put the cookies in the food processor and let it run until you have fine cookie crumbs! Set aside in a glass bowl.

After our whirlwind day in the city, we got up bright and early (like meet at 8am) and headed to Napa for a fun day full of tastings! We all piled in a 15 passenger van (no lie) with our coffee and headed to the valley! Since it was so early, we started off with bubbles at Mumm Napa. Haha, how awkward are we? Next we headed to Auberge du Soleil. Next up was V Madrone. Our fourth and final stop was Lava Vine.

Gelie Beans and Sparkly Things. Thursday, April 25, 2013. We have been so lucky to have had lots of visitors since we have moved out here. They have been coming in waves, so it's been non-stop fun! First up was my Mom, Momadear and Granddaddy! It was SO good to see them! It had been months since we had seen them, and I was just starting to get homesick so it was perfect timing getting to see them! Thursday started off hanging out, just Mom and me! I got to take her to my fav, Peet's. It was so yummy!
