Number of Pillows Delivered to Patients as of 5-10-16: 2,436. After a mastectomy, lumpectomy or biopsy, the chest area can be very sensitive. The pillow can be placed between the safety belt and surgical site to provide comfort and protection during bumpy car rides home from the hospital. It can be helpful to take the pillow to chemotherapy appointments. The pillow can be placed under the arm for comfort during long infusion sessions and relieve shoulder tension. Back or neck pillow. October 7, 2014 Mothers, Daughters, Sisters Friends Luncheon and Fashion Show. Over 300 guests joined Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Friends in honoring breast cancer survivors at the. Anne Thompson, NBC News’ Chief Environmental Affairs correspondent, delivered a tear-jerking keynote address describing her battle with breast cancer. Sunday, February 22, 2015. It is too cold outside. Yes, that is ice. Today we drove to an area known as Starved Rock, on the Illinois River near the town of Ottawa. We were interested to see the Bald Eagles that are known to frequent this area. Here is the lock and dam with 7 barges in it.
