The pack is 1994 Upper Deck Collector's Choice Series 1. This was just after I stopped collecting cards when I was 15. I soon found cars, comics, and music to spend my money on and baseball cards took a back seat for the next fifteen or so years. 220 Joseph Oliver Silver Signature Insert. 318 Mike Piazza Checklist.

https://lifetimetopps.wordpress.com/2015/08/07/2015-goodwin-champions-box-break-3
Collecting every topps set since the year I was born. 2015 Goodwin Champions box break #3. Here are the SP cards I got. 8 of them, and unlike box #2, these were all needed cards. Here are the SSP cards, and again unlike the 2nd box, these were both needs. Here are the minis. I got 1 more mini overall in this box, but again just 3 of the “regular” minis. I got 1 canvas mini of the all-time rushing leader. Here are the Goudey inserts. I got another female trail blazer in Danica Patrick in these cards.

Collecting every topps set since the year I was born. 2012 Goodwin Champions box break #3 (a different kind of mojo) and comparison with 1888. Into new territory – I bought a third box of Goodwin Champions. And I’m pretty glad I got that extra box – as you’ll see later. Here’s the World Traveler box topper. Out of three boxes, I pulled three European cities – two of which I’ve actually been to. I won’t go into details about the Amsterdam part of my 2001 trip…. Of course, I got another hockey player….

Attending the 2015 National Card Show | Lifetime Topps project
https://lifetimetopps.wordpress.com/2015/08/01/attending-the-national-card-show
Collecting every topps set since the year I was born. Attending the 2015 National Card Show. Yesterday I went to the National Sports Collector’s Convention. If you’ve never been to the National, the first thing you realize is that it’s huge. I mean it’s enormous. I was there from start to finish on Friday, and I probably stopped by two-thirds of the booths. Saturday and Sunday include Craig Biggio, Randy Johnson, John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, Rafael Palmeiro, and Mike Piazza.

Collecting every topps set since the year I was born. 2015 Goodwin Champions box break #1. I ended my 3 posts for going to the National with my purchase of an original 1888 Goodwin Champions card. So now it’s a good time to show off the box I bought of Goodwin based 127 years later. 2011 it was the Abe Lincoln Masterpiece. Painting. Last year I got a World War I relic. 8211; but I’ve held on to that so far. I’ll go over what’s available in the 2015 Goodwin boxes in my next post. Goodwin also has mini car...

Texas Rangers Cards: May 2015
http://rangerscards.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Collecting the Texas Rangers. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Rangers return home triumphant. Today's card really has no connection to the topic of this post. It brings back memories for me though. Mike Stanley signed this 1989 Donruss card through the mail for me back in the early 1990's. It was one of the first through the mail success I had. Not yet and they may not be one this year. They are playing much better ball than a few weeks ago though and at least may be able to avoid the AL West cellar. Not all the...

Small BallFields: July 2011
http://myangelscards.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
I love to journey out of my way to see a small baseball field. Thursday, July 7, 2011. WHERE: Woodland, California. WHERE EXACTLY: In Hans Christiansen Park, on West Beamer Street between Grand Avenue and Walnut Street. WHEN VISITED: July 3, 2011 while visiting family. The park that the field is in is named after Hans Christiansen who was the only Woodland resident to die at the attack on Pearl Harbor. The park was established in 1946 but I'm not sure if the field was built at that time. Looks like they ...
