Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Im dropping Ivy off at school today and I notice a little chunk of hair missing from the front of her bangs. I have been letting her bangs grow and they had finally gotten to the point where they were long enough to pull back into her pony tail.not quite sure what to do now. Saturday, February 12, 2011. This year we made it to the beach for New Year's day. Think I have blogged this before, but it is something that my Grandmother enjoyed doing and a few years ago, my Mom decided to start the tradition up with our family. This year we all made it. April 30, 2008. He's an Honor Grad! Jourdan just found out today that he is an honor grad! He will get to wear a special cord at graduation to signify his accomplishment! He is also a happy camper today, because he took his Dual Credit English final. I really don't know why he's having to go to school every day except for pre-cal and his last elective, Equine Science! May 31, 2008. As you can see from the photo slideshow to the right (should load by itself), our Jourdan walked across the stage today and graduated with Honors with the KHS Class of 2008! What pride and joy we are feeling! We started the day with a brunch at Antonia's Restaurant in Katy (extremely delicious)! Seven whole days with 4 boys and 4 adults. We are all so ready for the break! We'll have great stories and pictures to share (at least a few) upon our return. That's it for now until we get back!

June 26, 2008. Yellow, red, blue.). Today I went to the grocery store and was able to use all of my "re-usable" bags! I only needed one more bag, but the sacker had to give me a paperbag to make the shopping trip complete. It was fun to watch the girl sacking my groceries as she sort of snickered to the cashier. I started to tell her that at least I was thinking of her children and grandchildren even though I was late thinking of mine and the environment that we/they live in! Have fun going "green"!

December 28, 2008. Having a "green" Christmas! I decided early on that since our kids are now much older, that the "unwrapping" of gifts will be less exciting. I also have heard recently just how much paper gets sent to "the wasteland" from just the Christmas season.
