The McPrince Chronicles: December 2009
http://mcprince.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Favorite songs of 2009. Inspires me to keep my list going, even if it's not as well thought out as his. Here's a slew of songs I listened to a lot in 2009, in no particular order. 1 "Poor Boy" from Blind Pilot's 3 Rounds and a Sound. 2 "Bracket, WI" from Bon Iver on the Dark Was The Night compilation album. 3 "All My Friends" from Broken Social Scene's To Be You and Me. 4 "Banshee Beat" from Animal Collective's Feels. 5 "La Llorona" (The Crying Woman) from Beirut's March of the Zapotec. The McPrince Chronicles: Final mileage check
http://mcprince.blogspot.com/2008/12/final-mileage-check.html
The (nearly) final tally on my bike commute this year: 2,044 miles since I started in early April. And if I do my minimum rides on the six days of work I have left this year after returning from vacation, that figure will rise to 2,080 miles. I hope to get in some full rides, though, and cap the year around 2,100 miles. That, roughly speaking, is the distance between Portland and Dallas, Texas. Some other numbers to consider:. By biking this year I. Avoided using 78 gallons of gasoline. Morocco: 09.0...

http://mcprince.blogspot.com/2009/04/one-year-later.html
