Monday, July 26, 2010. Pool Drains and the Great Race of Life. Warning: This one is a little random- see it through:-). Wade sleeps soundly next to me, well pseudo-next to me, Boudreaux sprawled herself out across the bed leaving me with about a foot of viable sleeping space, and my mind is racing about things that need to be done to prepare for our trip. What are we really doing with our inner being? Is it being cultivated just as our physical bodies need cultivating through exercise and healthy diet?

Monday, May 31, 2010. The Optimist v. The Pessimist. This certainly helped me find balance and remember to look for the silver lining, rather than the cloud covering it up.of course, the Sunday pot-luck lunch never fails to boost the spirits as well. I needed to remember the eternal optimist and the fact that the lady that whizzed in front of me at the pump was just the proverbial steaming pile of dung- my pony must be waiting somewhere! I vow to heartily keep the faith in finding it.

Tuesday, June 5, 2012. We went on our first camping trip on the Frio. It was so much fun! Although Holt and I slept in the cabin with the other moms and little ones. First night was a little rough but Holt and all the others were wonderful the 2nd night. I guess we finally wore them out. Saturday, September 3, 2011. Why I don't swim in the ocean! GiGi, I and the kids took a tour of Jekyll island by carriage, since we haven't done it yet. It was fun, and we were the only ones, so that was nice. So, we went to the beach with GiGi, and it just happened to be the weekend hurricane Irene, passed us by. Sunday, October 30, 2011. We went to a fall festival at a local church, and it was so fun. I had another costume for Holt I bought at last year's clearance, but when I found a shark on sale, I couldn't pass it up! It was $6 well spent :) Hopefully Haley won't notice all the chocolate candy is gone (there was only a few little ones :). Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Dad and Holt deciding what to do in Florida. Friday, August 19, 2011. 4 Months and Dance. Haley in her dance outfit. She was so excited! Holt in his new outfit from MiMi, thank you! Friday, August 12, 2011. Plantation and St Simons Trolley. The driver said hi, and realized how shy Haley was (not at all), so he asked if she knew anyone who could ring the bell for him. Of course she was happy to! The picture is of her telling the driver and the rest of the bus how old she was :). The Hazels at an old rice plantation. It was neat to see.
