Count It All Joy: May 2012
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. Spring Hill Family Camp 2012. This past memorial day weekend, the Billman family our two "honorary Billmans" AJ and Nate headed up to one of my favorite places on the whole planet: Spring Hill. It's a trip we look forward to every year, not only because we get to spend some quality family time together, but also because we get to hang out with all of our favorite Michigan peeps! Although we had one day of rather yucky weather, the long awaited trip didn't disappoint. Once upon a t...

Count It All Joy: July 2012
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. There is a power still greater than the brokenness. Our redemption through Jesus. He came to right the wrongs and settle the score, to reclaim the hearts of men trapped by the pain and evil of this fallen world. He came to fix, to heal, to redeem. It cost him his life, but it costs us nothing. First, he redeems us from a deep, dark pit: then we are offered an extraordinary opportunity as daughters and sons of God. James 1:27). Why does it have to be here. I've recently returned f...

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Extraordinary Blessings: Who is it today? The extraordinary blessing series continues! I've had a bit of a dilemma, so before you think I'm completely jipping the other members of my immediate family, just know that Ry-guy and my momma will be getting "their own" posts, on their birthdays coming up next week. Miss Emily Kay got her "shout out" here. Check it out to see what a gem this sweet girl is! So who do you get to read about in today's post? Probably the thing I admire...

Count It All Joy: May 2013
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Los Días Finales en Querétaro. Just a few weeks ago, we were meeting our families for the first time and it's already time to say goodbye! As I say on almost every post, but this has been the greatest experience. The amount of knowledge I've gained and the fun I've had was well worth the expense of making the trip. My next post will likely be from the good 'ole US of A! Counting it all joy. Monday, May 27, 2013. A recap of the weekend! When we arrived to San Joaquín, our first stop...

Count It All Joy: A Reflection for Mammy

Thursday, October 9, 2014. A Reflection for Mammy. Yesterday, at my grandma's memorial service, I had to opportunity share a few words about my sweet Mammy. For those of you who didn't know her, this is just a brief glimpse of the incredible woman that she was. She taught us to “Stay committed”. She taught us to “ Never stop learning”. She taught us to “Be courageous”. Counting it all joy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sweet Lillian Love at Fiwagoh. A Reflection for Mammy. The story of zee.

Count It All Joy: June 2012
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. I ponder in a moment of unbridled beauty found in the benevolent blessing of our Father God. We rest and are thankful, deep to the core, because of the blessed reassurance that our lives, each moment to the next, have been handcrafted and uniquely shaped according to the will of God. Not a moment has been left out; each relationship formed, circumstance encountered, and situation presented are woven together in a tapestry of immeasurable worth. Counting it all joy. Count It All Joy: Casually Witnessing the Miracle of Life on a Tuesday
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2013/05/casually-witnessing-miracle-of-life-on.html
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Casually Witnessing the Miracle of Life on a Tuesday. Today I got to witness the miracle of life.SEVEN times! Throughout the course of our five hours on the unit, I witnessed 3 C-sections and 4 vaginal births. At first, I was not sure how I would react. Would I feel a little queasy or dizzy, or handle it just fine? We are all the treasured children of a great, great God, which is truly the only thing that matters. Counting it all joy. Count It All Joy: October 2011
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 24, 2011. Love hurts, plain and simply. If you don't want to take my word for it, then. Try to meet a significant other who is so incredibly perfect for you in every way, and then. move far away so that you never get to consistently see them. Spend your time fighting the urge to grow up just so that you can see them more than once a month (if that). Sit and wait until you feel like your heart is going to burst open if you wait any longer. If that doesn't work. Again, love hurts. We say, "...

Count It All Joy: April 2012
http://embillman.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 16, 2012. Um, can you say convicting? How often do we hold on to our bitterness, choosing not to forgive? How often do we refuse to be the first one to "say we're sorry" because the other person hurt us worse? We say to ourselves, "I'll apologize after they apologize to me first." or "If I forgive them right away, then they won't know they did anything wrong.". Eternal separation from God, that the prize for your "basically good" existence. Forgiveness when I inflicted painful wounds upon C...
