Little House in the Big Woods. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I am back from Italy. Let me tell you, they sure packed a lot of activity into our seven days. We started in Venice, went to Florence, took the train to Pisa, stopped for an afternoon in Assisi, and then spent 2 days in Rome. There was a lot of walking. And the food was delicious. On the first day, I ate the most delicious fettucine alfredo underneath the Rialto Bridge in Venice. Hey, look! In this picture of the Rialto birdge from wikipedia.

Give myself a pedicure. Cook and eat something nutritious. Write out a Christmas list (both. For what I want. And what I need to buy). Get Matt a birthday present.

Saturday, February 21, 2015. I've been told I snore. February 12th, 7pm - The Day of Surgery! It's been about 10 days since the surgery and the swelling has gone down substantially, the bruises are almost gone, there stilll are a bit of yellow and blue, purple patches but it should disappear in time :). What kind of things do my friends do on the weekend? Well, not everyone has seen the Star Wars. Movies so Steve is hosting a marathon. I'm not even a huge fan but I do like popcorn. On Monday the sista and I went on an evening shopping odyssey. I had things to get (like an ipod stereo thing with wireless speakers that's going back because it sucks) and she was desperately looking for hooks for the mantle to hang their stockings on. This lead us to the danger zone, aka Pier One. I am so excited for Christmas though!
