Note to the Russian people who friended me today (and the future ones). - perceptions

Note to the Russian people who friended me today (and the future ones). I have been friended by seven Russian-speaking people today only, and ten in the last week. Given that my stats show only two visitors from the Russian Federation or any other Russian-speaking country with the last visit having taken place on May 14th, I realize that you didn't even take the slightest glance at my Livejournal. Tags: an entry the addressed audience will pro. Whats the use of spam-friending? Middot Leave a comment.

I like cheese. - The Grammar Exchange
http://grammarexchange.livejournal.com/1095.html
January 9th, 2010. I do like cheese. I'm going to have some for breakfast. I'll bet that like has lots of complexities, though. 2010-01-09 02:41 pm (UTC). 2010-01-15 06:27 am (UTC). It's better to say 'Me gusta queso.' Direct and indirect objects come before the verb. 2010-01-15 03:00 pm (UTC). Thanks, my version looked wrong to me, but the internet was not helping when I tried to figure out why. :). 2010-01-09 04:16 pm (UTC). 2010-01-09 09:53 pm (UTC). I'm pretty fierce about liking it! No, it s not tha...

Short interlude. - perceptions

I'm not going to excuse myself again for being absent. Instead, I'm just posting, how about that? While transferring stuff from my old beloved-but-tired Mac to my new beloved-and-oh-so-incredible one (whom, if you are on Facebook, I have mentioned already far too often.) I just found these pics from last year. There were taken on one of the few times that Y and I went for a walk together, with all the dogs. And when dogs are tired and thirsty, there's always an olive tree around, right? And NOOOOOOO, I h...

Even for this ol'Mac-er. T took me some time to set it up correctly, but finally, for the first time, I have been to the Cavern. I feel like I have been initiated. The waiting was worth it. Looking for a film title - Brit Flicks
http://brit-flicks.livejournal.com/136151.html
Looking for a film title. Nov 14th, 2008 at 11:25 AM. This is about a film I saw ages ago, and I thought I'd remember that it was called "A girl called George" but I seem to be mistaken. Anyway, it was from the 1960's, black and white, the lead I remember as George or Georgie was a bit on the chubby side and often wore one of those typical coats, a bit like this. With a backcomb hairstyle roughly like this this. Maybe this rings a bell with someone? 6 comments Leave a comment. Georgy Girl, definitely.
