Monday, August 10, 2015. McNeil/Bolton Vacation in Cleveland. We finally did it! We finally got the Bolton Clan (minus Jim) and the Soellner Clan together. And to make it even sweeter - my brother came with his girlfriend Stacey - who we all met for the first time. We met in Cleveland which is just about half way between our locales. And it was awesome! The seals were a big hit with both kids. The zoo was less crowded this time so we got a closer look and were able to spend more time at each exhibit.

Monday, June 23, 2014. Well…Emily ended up with a mild case of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease and she handled it well. We are doing OK otherwise. Evan seems to think going to bed is optional these days and Emily seems to be suffering from some reflux issues, which leads to projectile vomiting once a day. Sunday, February 22, 2015. BrrrHome Sick (A Lot) and Painting Glue! Emily was home sick 2.5 days this week, first with vomiting, then diarrhea. So she got some quality time with Mama. Then this weekend was our second (of 5) recruiting weekends. Both Matt and I had to work on Saturday, to meet with students. Matt worked again on Sunday to finish up a grant. I cannot wait for this stressful period to be over! Emily had lots of time to play with her toys at home. Where did that ball go? Our next Bengals fan.

Monday, July 28, 2014. We celebrated Evan's 2nd Birthday over the weekend. We did the best we could to give him a great time, given the chaos in our lives right now. We opened his gifts over 3 days so he could play with each one and enjoy it. Opening his gift from the Boltons. It was super cute. He wanted to use his scissors to open the plastic. He loved the "big trucks". We couldn't get them out of the box fast enough. I think Daddy loves the gift as much as Evan. Picking up pom poms. Washing his car :-).

Tuesday, March 17, 2015. I cannot believe it is already mid-March! Ha ha It is going to take me awhile:). They LOVED it. Now anytime "chicken" is on the menu, they ask, "KFC? It was a nice treat. But for $30 for one bucket and myself making all the sides, it will remain a tasty memory. Look at this treat! Thank you Grandpa, for a gift card, given to us two years ago for Joshua's birthday! Monday, February 23, 2015. Receiving Valentines from our home school group friends :). GBBC 2015 (Great Backyard Bird Count) This year we made bird feeders out of popsicle sticks. Making a peanut butter pine cone bird feeder (this was a life saver to the birds during our frequent snow storms. The pb secured the seeds and they didn't blow away in the wind.). He also lives in a house which was used by the Underground Railroad in our town. We learned so much! Jacob helping Ebeth with her college biology lab.
