As much as I love makeup, the one thing that really does grind my gears is when people assume that people wear it simply to make themselves feel ‘pretty’, confident or to impress others. That we wear it because we hate the way we look without it. Although some people out there do wear it for that reason, and there’s nothing wrong with that, I for one don’t. Why would I spend all of my money collecting makeup just for other people?

A small scary stop in Bogota, Columbia on a break from my flight towards Brazil was where I thought I was going to get stuck with no access to cash and no way of getting back onto my next flight!
