An Insight To My Trip To Germany

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Saturday, 5 July 2014. I had art for the first three weeks of school, with three one and a half hour lessons each week. The teacher had a strong French accent and spoke fast, so it was nearly impossible to understand what she was saying (and it still is). In the three weeks, I painted two watercolours - the first time I have used watercolours in more complicated paintings, it was frustrating but in the end it was satisfactory but not perfect. Done a lot more drawing so i...

An Insight To My Trip To Germany: Food

http://aninsighttogermany2014.blogspot.com/2014/05/food.html

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Tuesday, 20 May 2014. One of the hardest things to get used to other than everyone speaking German, was the meal times and the food. On weekdays for breakfast we eat bread with butter and sweet spreads (i.e. jams and honey), cheese and meat (salami, ham.). Lunch is the main meal of the day, and either we come home, go to the local bakery or eat from the school canteen. Then dinner is much the same as breakfast. Linda's confirmation was last weekend, and I said I would ba...

An Insight To My Trip To Germany: School Surveying Camp

http://aninsighttogermany2014.blogspot.com/2014/06/school-surveying-camp.html

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Saturday, 7 June 2014. At first I didn't want to go because the camp spread over two weeks and the Albstadt World Cup was that weekend (why do Germans have to plan school camps over the weekend? But I didn't have much of a choice. Tuesday morning I was there waiting for the bus to come with the rest of my class. My groups awesome Theodolite 2 (it even has my initials! By Wednesday we had finished the surveying and that afternoon we each drew an accurate map of the areas ...

An Insight To My Trip To Germany: My First Race in Germany

http://aninsighttogermany2014.blogspot.com/2014/05/my-first-race-in-germany.html

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Monday, 12 May 2014. My First Race in Germany. Yesterday I rode my first race in about 12 weeks, the last one being the Australian National Round in Echuca, VIC. Germans seem to like the Le Mans start, where you line your bikes up and have to run to them. I don't think it works very well though because if you are right at the wrong end like I was, then it is very hard to get good position into the first part of the track, I was last in a field of about 40 U/17's. The big...

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Saturday, 24 May 2014. Wet, muddy and lots of fun! My training basically consists of Wednesday and Saturday with Team SV Reudern on the MTB and Tuesdays and Thursdays on the road bike with a road group. Then the other days going out and riding in the Schwäbishe Alps or resting and recovering. I thought it might be fun to find the way to a track called Ho Chi Minh -actually the same route as my first ride back on the mountain bike ( First Week of School. Just going out an...

An Insight To My Trip To Germany: April 2014

http://aninsighttogermany2014.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

An Insight To My Trip To Germany. Wednesday, 30 April 2014. The Zaisers share a holiday house in the Black Forest with their family and we went there for Easter. The drive there was along the Autobarn for the first half then along narrow winding roads for the second half. I was expecting it to be dense forest most of the way to their house, but there are many open spaces throughout the areas of Pine Trees. The old Black Forest house, it is really built for snow. The view looking out of the front windows.

An insight into David

An insight into David. A place to store my thoughts. Read if you want, if not then don't? An insight into David. Mole Hills and Mountains. Saturday, 17 March 2012. A long awaited update. Having realised that I have not posted in this blog for nearly a year I decided to actually do something about this. Obviously I am not going to update you on everything that has been happening for two major reason:. 1 It would be incredibly boring. 2It would take an awfully long time to write. My first Year - 15 members.

An Insignificant Life | The musings of a girl who could be just about anyone you know.

The musings of a girl who could be just about anyone you know. A Letter to My 16-year-old Self. April 24, 2015. Mdash; 1 Comment. Here it is, just a month until your 16. Birthday, and you’ve received a mysterious letter from…yourself? Yes, this letter is from you, but not the you that you are today. This letter is from the you that you will be a month before your 40. I’m writing to tell you a little bit about me (and you). Things you could never imagine, things you have no way to process yet. You will di...

An Insignificant Other

As a new years resolution, i've decided that I should create a blog detailing my random life and experiences, a journal of sorts that will hopefully develop into something more. Come read, learn and share in the life of an insignificant other, in a world of billions. Friday, 4 February 2011. I'm posting this from my HTC Desire. Neato! Wednesday, 6 August 2008. Although it is fun to see this happening in a productive way, such as with video game systems being able to play homebrew. Next week, I'm going to...
