We had a lovely crowd of friends attend our first ever New Year's Afternoon/Eve Open House, and did a countdown at 9 (we yelled, "Happy New Year in Nova Scotia! In case the kids, especially the younger ones, didn't make it until midnight. Turns out they all made it for the real thing, with the exception of Elianne who finally succumbed to sleep at about 11:50. Wednesday, January 06, 2010.

Depuis quelques semianes, Lamia de Tiziouzou (j'adore le nom de cette ville algérienne :-) vient chez nous pour faire le baby-sitting! Elle est super gentille! Zayd does not go to Daycare anymore. Since a couple of weeks ago, Lamia from Tiziouzou (I love the name of this Algerian city :-) is baby-sitting Zayd at our house! She is super nice!

Zayd had accidently flipped before from his tummy to his back, but today he is doing it over and over again. He masters this new skill now and keeps on "asking" me to put him on his tummy so that he can flip to his back from his left side. He must have repeated the move a dozen times in about one hour :-). We can officially say that Zayd is starting to move!
