An Irish Girl's Life. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Filofax Finsbury Personal in Blue.giving it another go! Well, here we go again.I'm giving my Finsbury another go. This time I am going to use it for a week at least, to see if I can really live in a snap closure binder. NO I'm not totally giving up my precious Holborn zip! Just want to give it a much deserved rest. I just don't want it to get that way. SO comes the trial of the Finsbury again. So Yay for that! Let the Holborn vacation begin, I shall miss you!

An Irish Girl's Life. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Back in the saddle? Not necessarily, just more like touching base I guess. Over the past year, I have had quite a few things happening that have kept me away from my page here. Change of job, laid up with pneumonia (NOT fun), and a few other things, BUT it is a new year and time for me to get back in the mix! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life ...considered, planned, organized: 2012 Filofax Set-up
http://lifeconsideredplannedorganized.blogspot.com/2012/01/filofax-and-succes-haul-2012-set-up.html
Life considered, planned, organized. Tuesday, January 3, 2012. In reality, I like my Filofax tidy. I like symmetry, order, and monochrome. What I did not like was Filofax's 'array' (I use that word lightly) of tab dividers. Making my own, I discovered that I am not an artist, and that too many colors and patterns turned my eye away from rather than to my Filofax, causing me to neglect its upkeep for days on end. I was happy to discover these. American Sign Language; I'm an interpreter); The Bible,. I pim...

Life ...considered, planned, organized: On Filofax...
http://lifeconsideredplannedorganized.blogspot.com/2011/12/on-filofax.html
Life considered, planned, organized. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. I am not one that likes a lot of bulk and clutter and useless items in my world. I only want what I positively enjoy and what it absolutely necessary. Two of my favorite material things are handbags and Filofax(es). Today, it's all about the Filo. I shared a little of how I use one of my organizers on the blog Philofaxy. A source of daily reading for me, so I thought I'd post about it here as well. I'd like to find a convenient way to kee...

On Sparkling Wings: April 2013

Sunday, April 28, 2013. Tall Towers, MS and Lessons. One week ago I finally did something I have wanted to do for several years now. I did something good for me, good for others and I WILL DO IT AGAIN! Central Park Tower, located in the heart of Perth's CBD. 53 Storeys, 1103 stairs to the top. I didn't do it alone! Around 1000 people did the same clime. Amazing but true! Three women, of those 1000 individuals mattered most to me on the way up, up, up! Those 3 were my team, 4MS4MS. But even though my legs...

On Sparkling Wings: 2014... Surprisingly Good
http://onsparklingwings.blogspot.com/2015/01/2014-surprisingly-good.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. With only half an hour left of 2014 I am looking back to see what this year held for me. Boy. What a shock! It has almost been a YEAR since I blogged! How on Earth did that time lapse so fast? Well Here's how. My year in a nutshell! I discovered that being a mother means MY NEW YEAR really doesn't begin until February when the kids go back to school! My little girl began kindergarten! While my big boys were in Grades 2 and 3! My husband started a food vending business. It's fun...

Thursday, July 25, 2013. A Heavier Topic - Suicide Intervention Training. A month ago, I began training as a Telephone Crisis Supporter. To date, it has been an incredible experience. So many wonderful, amazing people out there, from all walks of life, coming together to give something back to their community. It truly is heartwarming and inspiring, and they are a fun bunch to boot! One of those topics is suicide. This past weekend, as part of the training, I undertook a LivingWorks ASIST. In Australia, ...

Thursday, January 8, 2015. My Jar of Happy. You know that saying, "I wish I could bottle it? When something is so good we want to preserve it forever or just save it for another day? Well I think I have discovered a way to do just that! But my new beautiful Jar of Happy is perfect. On dimly lit days of the heart, or when I want to stroll back in time and smile, all I ned do is reach in and take out a small selection of nots and sit back and read. And that just makes my heart sing so loudly! This is not a...

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Amazing plans for 2014! One of my favourite activities to do from Leonie Dawson's Amazing Biz and Life Workbooks. Is to write a list of 100 things to do this year. I just love it. Last year's list can be seen HERE. I only managed to fulfil 21 of the things I set out to do but really, I don't think that effort was half bad! I achieved the following:. Climbed 1103 stairs in the Step up for MS challenge. Raised $1145 dollars for the MS Society of WA. Tried yoga and fell in love.
