Commissioning a Portrait

When photographing your pets, get down on the same level as them and take pictures with tight close-ups. If I can use your picture I will be glad to. If I need to do the photography, and you live in my area, there is an additional $50 charge for up to 1 hour of time. My paintings are usually no smaller than 12" x 18" and can be as large as 20" x 30". They must be framed under glass and need to be matted or have spacers inserted between the picture and the glass.

My Story

I would love to paint your pet's portrait. A friend talked me into taking a beginner's art class in the Fall of 2003. I knew nothing except that it was something I'd always wanted to try. I live in central Arkansas and find it very humbling to realize my paintings are displayed in private collections in Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana and Virginia.
