The other picture is of the Cherry tomatoes (front) and the Tiny Tims (another cherry tomato) I sowed about three weeks ago. http://cluelessgardenerindubai.blogspot.com/2011/01/patio-is-producing.html
Clueless Gardener in Dubai. A blog about my attempts to grow vegetables and flowers in Dubai. Tuesday, 11 January 2011. The Patio is Producing! Where did all the nasty pests go? I don't really want to know. But what I have worked out is that plants that are well fed and looked after at the early stages have a better chance of thriving and producing than those that come under stress when young. Leaf miners, caterpillars, thrips and all the rest of you, stay away! Coriander alongside Pak Choi and Okra.

Clueless Gardener in Dubai: New Beginnings
http://cluelessgardenerindubai.blogspot.com/2010/11/things-are-popping-out.html
Clueless Gardener in Dubai. A blog about my attempts to grow vegetables and flowers in Dubai. Tuesday, 2 November 2010. I wish I had some brilliant pics of healthy plants bending with the weight of ripe tomatoes, snow peas gone wild all over a trellis, rows of crunchy lettuces and pots of fragrant herbs- pics to feel proud of and to begin this blog. Unfortunately, I have nothing of the sort. Seems to be the fastest growing so far. Got some nine onions hopefully growing under that soil. A UK variety- not ...

Clueless Gardener in Dubai. A blog about my attempts to grow vegetables and flowers in Dubai. Sunday, 30 January 2011. What You See Is What You Get. Pak Choi has been the most successful and abundant crop- so much so that I don't really know what to do with it. Mainly, i just stir fry it with other veg. Well, you already know about me and beans. They have to be my favourite side vegetable, lightly fried in olive oil with a little crushed garlic and a dash of rock salt. Mixed herbs for roast chicken.

Clueless Gardener in Dubai. A blog about my attempts to grow vegetables and flowers in Dubai. Tuesday, 2 November 2010. How I Set Up My Terrace Garden. On the advice of numerous websites, I set out to hunt for compost. In Dubai. It doesn't exist-atleast not in the major garden centres and supermarkets. A big lady who looked like the boss of the flowery-shirt team in Dubai GC told me the potting soil is. Is for the fragile seeds that are now battling the elements and my inexperience in the pots outside.

Clueless Gardener in Dubai. A blog about my attempts to grow vegetables and flowers in Dubai. Tuesday, 9 November 2010. What's Ailing My Bougainvillea. I always seem to run into problems with the easiest growing plants. I mean palms and bougainvilleas- two things that grow so wildly here in the UAE always flop and wilt and get attacked in my garden. Fingers crossed soon I'll have those lush plants I see all the time, flowing over villa walls- more blooms than leaves. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

That Wife married to That Husband living That Life. Who is That Wife? Learn About the LDS Faith. Something To Watch Over. December 3, 2008 in Goals. Lately I’ve been feeling this desire to nurture something. We aren’t dog people, cats don’t appeal to me, and I already did the hamster thing once before. Wasn’t my little hamster Massimo cute? I really want a snake, like my old hairstylist, but That Husband says no. Plus I also want a baby someday, and then snake might try to eat our baby. Chick in the Czech.
