Thursday, August 25, 2011. Spokane For Marys Birthday. Wed: Aug 24th Off to Spokane for a small birthday celebration of Mary’s 7? Birthday. Good sunny ride all the way over. Arrived here around 3pm. Put some chicken on the barbi for dinner followed by just catching. Fri Morning: Today the plan is to head up to Diamond lake for a little cabin therapy. Anita, Mary and I made it to the lake where the water was warm and the air was hot 92 or so degrees. Again did chicken on the BBQ. Summer is a coming.

On the way over Anita and I hiked to the top of the wild horses monument out of Vantage. Upon arrival at Mary’s Isabel and I went for a long walk. Got in 12 miles this day and Isabel was still jumping and running ahead all the way. Sun Jul 03: Woke up went for a walk and a kayak ride. Then more or less started getting ready for our drive home. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Day X (Sunday) Gone Fishing. Just talked to Skipper Adam on the good ship Max Power. His net is wet! So far today he has brought in 60 to 70 fish. The highlights so far include; nearly being turned back to the States at customs for lack of proof of what my plans were, lesson learned always have something to show, after a good twenty minutes of negotiations I was allowed to enter the UK. Too tired to get at all worked up seemed to work out well as I dont think the guy was joking about sending me back.
