I feel like we've gotten past the adjustment period and now we are settling nicely into the groove of life in Germany. Getting a car was the final step in making life feel normal again. I think that's why the kids fall asleep so quickly when we go for a drive. It's nice to relax in your own vehicle. That tells you how much they argue, haha. I overslept one morni...

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Our adventure begins tomorrow! We have been tackling one task after another at a steady pace, and even Arve seems content with the little bit we have to finish today. Saturday we sold both cars to Toyota and got rentals. Sunday we finished packing and moved to a hotel. Monday the movers came. Tuesday we cleaned the house. Today we return the rental cars and pack our bags. Tomorrow we will be picked up at 11:45 and we fly out at 3:50. Yay! Posted by Lorentsen Family.

Saturday, August 17, 2013. This was a few months ago but I only recently downloaded the pictures from my phone. Arve was out of town a few weeks ago and I sent him this picture of prayer time. Big sigh.Erik gets into everything possible. This time Arve found him practicing with the girls' play make-up. Anna looks enthused about her new library card :). Back to school haircuts! Sarah came downstairs fully dressed at 6:15 the morning of her birthday. She's so funny; always prepared. A fun party weekend!

Thursday, June 20, 2013. We had a great family vacation this week! It was short but the kids had some great cousin time! Erik imitating Cameron, so cute :). I couldn't get over how animated Hayden has become. Here he is dancing on the table! 4 siblings with our babies at my impromptu birthday breakfast gathering. Such a fun way to wake up! Julia couldn't be in the picture because she was napping back at her cabin. Stephanie's birthday was the next day so they surprised us with cookie cakes that night.
