Wednesday, 2 January 2013. Dreaming of a White Christmas. Gareth and I have both had a couple of weeks off work, where we house sat at my bosses' lovely house and had a couple of days spent in Devon. We had a lovely Christmas starting with Skyping our families, followed by present opening, lunch at the pub, and my auntie's friend came for dinner. Gareth roasted turkey and we had mulled wine, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings! It all depends on time, which is quickly running out here!

Saturday, 20 August 2011. Monday, 1 August 2011. On Saturday we took the train to Brighton for the day. It was so good to see the ocean again! And hear the familiar sound of seagulls. Although they are definitly not a favourite of the bird species, I miss waking up to their squawks! One day I will post photos of Sumner and Redcliffs. Not today though, too many other photos to put up! This is the Royal Pavillion. Indian exterior, Chinese interior! This vintage themed bride and groom looked right at home.

Sunday, 30 October 2011. I am learning to buy less cheaper items and investing in a couple of decent seasonal pieces! It's still tempting to buy cheaply with basics, but I definitly want to follow on with this from now on. Less shopping, on better items! Wish it was easier :). I bought this stripey top from Primark for about 6 Pounds. Still in two minds whether it's worth investing in decent basics or not.thoughts? This is just a double breasted woolen coat.
