http://mayscritters.blogspot.com/2008/05/legacy-of-love.html
MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Friday, May 30, 2008. My Uncle Colby passed on Tuesday. I've known him all my life. We spent almost if not every Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families growing up at Nanny and PePa's. Whether it was at the house in Baytown. Feels, to have lost his son. How do I know I have lived a full life? One I could be proud to have shared with my family, my wife? Life should not be measured in terms of its length,. But rather let's measure the love and its strength. I have...

These are cute, too, from the same day: 2 are of the hail storm and Noah, Savanna, and Dallas with their hands out of the window trying to feel the rain and hail (about 3.5min total), and another of Dallas and Savanna outside on the front porch (about 2 min) so she can see the booms are not so scary after all. Thunder on the Porch. Little Hands, Rain, and Hail. Monday, January 01, 2007. It She had 2 glasses! What we are reading...

MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Baby Bailey vs. Baby Orangutan =-). I took these photos of Bailey (he's 1.5 now! Because his hair was especially unruly one day (Savanna poured milk on him), and he looked just like a baby orangutan to me. Hey, if you run out of mousse or hair gel, maybe milk'll do the trick! They're part of our family -. Chimps, gorillas, humans, and orangutans). What if they were tearing down our homes or killing us to take our baby as a pet? The Well-Trai...

MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Friday, December 15, 2006. Bears Earn their Rank. And that our children were our moons. Because they reflect back everything that we shine upon them. I am sure I am not the best orator, so I hope they understood what I was trying to say in such a short time. We only had a short time as the main focus of the night is on the crossover ceremony from the Webelos 2, which was an awesome event. My friend Jennifer's son became a boy scout tonight! MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Monday, January 21, 2008. I have been researching relentlessly and have found the camera that I would like:. Looks almost exactly like my old camera! My broken camera is a Canon Powershot. A75 with 3.2 megapixels. And a 3X digital zoom which I rarely used because the photo quality was not that great. I think the only time I used it was at football practices! This newer one is probably not going to be any lighter. So I am very excited to have found the Canon Powershot.

Gotta research! I've already started planning my budget. I have a simple Excel spreadsheet Dan made for me to keep track of expenses and so I am not late on any bills. Email me if you want a copy: carriemays@gmail.com. I hope to rectify this soon. I'll check back later with my camera research! Monday, December 10, 2007.

MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Monday, August 27, 2007. Mays School Starts Today. I hope to post soon about how things are going with our school. I'm thinking of letting them write their own posts periodically about what they are learning in school. (That would be a composition and grammar assignment in disguise! They would probably really like that! I'm off to get the kids up for our first day of school! Saturday, August 25, 2007. Popcorn Show and Sell is OVER! Way to go Dallas and Noah! Chaos fo...

MaysCritters. a.k.a. The Mays Family. Sunday, March 23, 2008. Easter Sunday Egg Hunt. Dallas is the first to get whacked! Savanna's got the hang of it now! Here comes another one! I think she's picking on Bailey because she can reach him. Oh, my head. Daddy's turn for a cleaning. I told Savanna to clean Daddy like the monkeys do (eat it). She looks at it. And goes for it! Hmmm, that was. interesting. Most fittingly, she is a Monkey on the Chinese Zodiac. Earless Bunny #2 - Do I detect a trend? X XoXo ;-).

March 25, 2005. Bailey is an embryo. I did not even know I was pregnant here! April 1, 2007. We took Flat Stanley with us that day. I like the detail on the flowers in this picture. I am home alone for a bit having left my job for another that is closer to home and will allow me the opportunity to spend more time with my family. I find myself comparing in contrast quiet and chaos. Parenthood is such a blessing.
