Anna Lucia: January 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Monday, January 31, 2005. Sometimes, when writing a book, I feel like I'm discovering a story, not writing it. Let me give you an example. In the scene, the heroine saw the face of a little girl at the window of the car she swerved to avoid. I finished it, edited it, submitted it, and it was rejected. And just this morning, driving the stretch of road that inspired that opening scene, I suddenly remembered the little girl, and just as suddenly realised who she is.

http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2007/04/looking-ahead.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Saturday, April 14, 2007. I think I misled people. In my rushed confusion I implied we were going on holiday this coming week. it's actually the week after! Must arrange cat sitter. Thanks for the good holiday wishes! I'm very excited. :-D. I also have a completely blank blog-brain, so excuse me that. I'll leave you with this view of the canals in autumn. Posted by Anna Louise Lucia @ 7:32 am. Great picture. I bet you can't wait! Welcome to my blog!

Anna Lucia: October 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Friday, October 28, 2005. I was in the car at 6:15 this morning, when the road was just a tunnel of hedgebanks, picked out and made ghostly by the headlights. You see, we go on holiday tomorrow. Nowhere special, except to us, not for long, just a week. A week of brooding coastlines and winter castles, a week of rain and wind and whatever the beginning of November throws at us. A week of Husband and I, together. Books, food, and TIME. It's all downhill from here.

Anna Lucia: March 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Sisters. Sisters. There were never such devoted sisters. Many cars have tried to split them up but no car can. Pippi (on left) and Piggy, curled up on the spare bed today. Pippi was hit by a car last Wednesday night, two weeks to the day after Merlin was put down (note to self - must amend side bar. I now have three cats, not four! She's doing fine. :-). And I've finished cleaning! Posted by Anna Louise Lucia @ 10:29 am. And gone, "wtf?

Anna Lucia: Smooth
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2007/04/smooth.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Wednesday, April 18, 2007. I adjusted to life without blogging when my computer was defunct, and now I'm struggling to get back into the routine. please excuse some fairly random and irregular musings. So, smoothies. I am moved to broadcast a request for your favourite smoothie recipes after experimenting with a pear, strawberry and raspberry smoothie, with yoghurt and apple juice. My favourite bought smoothies are from the blessed people at Innocent. My favorite...

Anna Lucia: July 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Sunday, July 31, 2005. Long Time No Mountain. Today, I am a physical wreck. The walk was wonderful, was very restoring, but now every square inch of my body hurts. You see, I've been walking mountains since I could walk at all. My body remembers how much I USED to be able to do. But forgets that I am woefully unfit. So I tend to go a *smidge* beyond a sensible level of exertion. At least I was sensible and didn't. When my fingertips stop aching. How fab is that?

Anna Lucia: June 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Attack of the Sequel. So It's like this. I have something like 70 writing hours left before my self-imposed deadline of the end of the month in which to finish the Frenchman's story. That's about 1.1 pages an hour. Every moment counts. I need to finish this story, and finish it to my own goals. This being the case, can someone explain to me why I wrote the first two pages of a new story today? Anna Lucia: Today's Learning
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2007/04/todays-learning.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Thursday, April 19, 2007. Today's Learning is this: I should never own a fast car. Don't worry, I haven't had an accident, or even a near miss. Honest. Only the garage leant me this courtesy car for the day, while they fix my Megane. It's not as if it's a Subaru or anything - it's only a Renault Clio. But after years of driving a diesel, and a few weeks of driving a 998cc Micra, I was. enjoying myself. Enjoying myself for 40 miles. in 40 minutes. Welcome to my bl...

Anna Lucia: September 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Friday, September 30, 2005. I'm me because there are chocolate crumbs in my keyboard, cat hairs in my printer, crumbs in the car and ibuprofen in every drawer in the house. I'm me because I'd rather have flowers on the table than expensive food in the fridge. Loving eye contact with one of my cats can make me smile all day. Each kiss from my husband lasts a lifetime. I'm me because I can be a genuis and a dunce at the same time. I'm an impatient driver, a faithfu...

Anna Lucia: April 2005
http://anna-lucia.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Romantic Suspense from Anna Louise Lucia. Monday, April 25, 2005. I was passing someone a cat.". My life is mostly boring. But it's in the 'mostly' part that the adventures begin. On Sunday I was having a pretty mundane day, giving the tiny front garden the first real overhaul of the spring. Weeding, planting out, mulching. As an almost un-noticed comma to the day's paragraph, I hit my head on the arbour seat part way through the afternoon. So I kept on gardening. I thought. I drew blood! So I drove to w...
