Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Week at the lake with cousins! Joel's parents rented a cabin by a lake for the week so we could all stay together. It was the perfect place for a family vacation! We did lots of canoeing, which was a new experience for our girls. I think the best part of the week was seeing our kids have so much fun with their cousins! They live overseas, so we don't get to see them very often. We met Elisabeth for the first time. The kids played on the beach and in the water most of the time.

Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Celebrating Anna's 9th Birthday. We celebrated Anna's 9th birthday last weekend. One more year and she'll be in the double digits! It was hard for her to decide what to do for her birthday this year. And then the plan we decided on had to change kind of last minute, so our new plan was to do several fun things on Saturday, then have a family dinner on her actual birthday, which was Monday. She chose Pei Wei for lunch. And we jumped at Jump Street. We love you, Anna!

Monday, September 29, 2014. Now that we're a month into school, it feels like we are finally getting settled into our routine. And part of that new routine was track practice two mornings a week. The PE coach at our school invites 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to be on the track team, and they have one track meet in the fall. Anna decided she wanted to do it, and she really enjoyed it. Olive shoots around the table.psalm 128:3. Monday, November 05, 2012. This year Noah was a soldier and Will was Daniel Boone (hee hee). They picked them out themselves (shout out to Grandma B.) Adam and I were cracking up at how closely these costumes represent their actual personalites=). Truman brought back the pirate costume from a few years ago. We had a Halloween party at our house for some of our friends and their kids and this is our group heading out to trick-or-treat! We had so much fun!
