This type specimen was created to showcase the typeface Modernica. The thick curves of the typeface reminded me a similar face used for the Porto, Portugal Metro logo. The pages are designed as an ode to metro transit and the vibrant colors and patterns found in Portuguese culture and architecture. The specimen is constructed to be held as a booklet or folded out to display the poster on the opposite side.

Displayed is a book cover redesign for the classic novel,. The concept behind the dust-jacket showcases the chaos and similarity between the creature and Dr. Frankenstein by employing a mirrored pattern created by hand-marbling paper. A hand drawn bilateral ambigram is used in the title to again draw upon the parallel and complex nature of the two main characters. Inside front matter and chapter pages are also displayed for this version.

A magazine dedicated to showcasing environmental solutions in action, this infographic is designed to ask can insects feed a hungry planet? For the design, I drew from the bright colors and bold silhouettes found on insects. See the infographic on. Bon Appétit has also been featured in the Parisian magazine.
