Deaf people who dont use BSL. no matter how deaf they are. no matter hearing aid or CI. This really annoying me. Not one deaf person are the same. 19 October 2010 at 21:12. I have been g...

My Cochlear Implant Journey: July 2011
http://fumasivil.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
My Cochlear Implant Journey. A blog entailing a deaf user going through the Cochlear Implant Journey. It's now two years since I have been implanted. Can't believe that it's been this long, it was only a while ago that I remember going to the hospital for the operation and coming round from it quite groggy from the anaesthetic. External processors are changing in this fast moving technological times all the time whereas the internal implant stays the same. My Cochlear Implant Journey. A deaf dude's life.

My Cochlear Implant Journey: March 2013
http://fumasivil.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
My Cochlear Implant Journey. A blog entailing a deaf user going through the Cochlear Implant Journey. It's now March and it'll be 4 years since I had my CI implant in May. When I returned from America in September last year, I only returned to Gray's inn road three times that year, and two of them were to pick up spare parts, and one for a remap. I am finding that in quiet situations I am able to have a simple conversation without lipreading or light concentration levels. My Cochlear Implant Journey.
