I recently left behind my former science background to retrain in Textiles at the Bath School of Art and Design, gaining a First Class Honours. The bursary was awarded to Anna Glasbrook. Anna used her bursary to explore a range of glassmaking techniques at the Glass Hub in Wingfield. As a result of this experience Anna has developed an understanding of how glass might be used in her current approach to making 3D textile installations. Suitable for wall hanging or as screens, panels and space dividers, these can be freestanding artworks or incorporated into the fabric of the building, indoors and out.
