Tuesday, June 17, 2014. The Worst Day of my Life. I was ten weeks pregnant. The doctor had a handheld ultrasound machine and was checking the baby. No heartbeat. She asked who was there with me. Friday, March 30, 2012. Debt FREE. Sorta. Today is a day I NEVER want to forget. Some stories are so good, you just HAVE to share them with whoever will listen. Today Sammy and I made our FINAL credit card payment. This might not sound like that big of a deal, but trust me - IT IS HUGE! In just over 3 years, we paid off $25,000. In credit card debt. TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. How did we get that much credit card debt, you may ask. Short answer: By spending more money than we had. We had to come clean.

Ramblings from the Lodge. July 31, 2009. Do you remember the Jetsons and their flying cars? And their robot maid? What about the doors that opened by going up and down instead of out and in? Well last night the Jackson family and the Riley family made it into the Jetson’s world…well almost. We had our first official Skype dinner! It was the BEST! Shane and I set the computer up at the end of our table, Mom and Dad set theirs up right where we would be sitting! I have a feeling it will be just as fun!

Ramblings from the Lodge. January 30, 2011. I'm going to start a new goal for me.posting about my weekends. We'll see how long I keep it! Hopefully I can get into taking more pictures with my Iphone and then can post pictures too! This weekend was a real treat! I only worked for 2.5 hours on Friday and took the rest of the day off.it was GREAT! We went to Firebirds for dinner and then went back to their hotel to watch. Ramblings from the Lodge. August 14, 2009. Cooking 101.Tuition Free. So Shane and I have started cooking together. It started about 2 weeks ago when he got a french press for his birthday. Since I have known him he could master the George Foreman grill and the microwave but he had never learned to boil water.so we started there.
