Thursday, April 30. It was just last Saturday that the city-girl daughter drove us both up the mountain to have breakfast at the Peaks of Otter lodge. It's truly beautiful- and about 10 degrees cooler! After a mediocre breakfast (the food is not worthy of the landscape! We walked around the lake for some photo ops. Wednesday, July 13. Where have you been? You have missed soooooo much! Yep, I'm the crazy lady that gets upset when someone parks in my spot. They are generally more than happy to move when I tell them they can have my spot if they want to pay my rent. I also have no problem pulling on a bathrobe to knock on their door at all hours to let them know their stereo or TV is too loud. When met with resistance (imagine that! It's all about communication. Saturday, May 29. Sometimes Its Just a Question of Character. I just finished catching the tail-end of The Story of Us. Every time I see this movie, it gets me. Marriage is hard work. Friday, May 22. Looks like the baby girl is no longer a baby. The city-girl daughter and I will be heading out on Wednesday for the mad wedding rush. We did another day of dress shopping today and I'm satisfied with my choices. I think the city-girl daughter is happy with hers, also.
