We had to work harder to find them. Moths and butterflies, on the other hand, were abundant and provided. A change of pace for us. Highlight for the month of July was a weekend spent around. Ann and john's nature blog. Wednesday, 30 November 2011. This week, we spent an afternoon walking Edmonton’s Whitemud Ravine trail. Milder temperatures (around the freezing mark) allowed us to pause frequently to look and listen. The heavily treed natural area with a creek winding through it, hosts a variety of wildlife. Abundant tracks of deer, rabbits and assorted small mammals traced through the snow. A coyote howled loudly nearby. Oh, Canada, Canada, Canada ". Call will give away his whereabouts.
