Terramar Talent Show 2010. Logan and her best friend, Courtney, performed at the school talent show last weekend. They had to audition last month and after they made the cut there were costume checks and dress rehearsals to attend. They went shopping for matching outfits and had matching hair and make-up. I think that was the most fun part! They performed the song Fireflies by Owl City on their flutes. All the hard practice paid off because they did great and we were all there to witness it! I didn't take a picture of the temple grounds this past week because they haven't changed anything where the temple will be. though they are tearing up our parking lot to make it bigger. Baby steps! So, let's recap last week. I went to school, then went again, then again, and again! Well, they set a trap and caught the bear by the girl's bathroom. Crazy! I think it is love. My brother-in-law, who runs a housecleaning business, recommended this Kenmore vacuum. I bought it last week and LOVE it. Who knew buying a more expensive vacuum really is worth it? May this vacuum last as long as my Kenmore washer and dryer. 11 years and counting without a single repair. Knock on wood! Aaron was a big fan of the snow. Best part - you can eat it! Meet Santa's helpers, aka Francisco and Becki). Our new tradition - Snuggies! It set the tone for a wonderful Christmas!

Life is busy but we are hanging on! This week brought an emergency root canal (for me) and the drama of a mouse (mice? In the house. We haven't caught it/them yet despite multiple traps. I have found a great reason to start blogging again. the Phoenix Temple! Yesterday was the groundbreaking. You can read about it here. My plan is to take a picture of the construction site every week after church and post it on the blog. Our meetinghouse adjoins the temple lot so it is going to be exciting to watch the temple go up.
