When it gets hot I find myself existing on cold sandwiches, melon, and salad. Here the food doesn't change at all. Saturday, January 04, 2014. This isn't going terribly well, is it? Internet connection is pretty shocking in India, at least in the places we've been top so far. Varanasi, full of religious stuff and cows and monkeys and tiny alleyways and lots of people, where it's always fun to see if you can count to ten before someone trys to sell you something. Aurangabad, which I'd never heard of a few weeks ago, with lots of exciting caves and the poor man's taj mahal, and precious little internet.

Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Did you know that it cost 100000 RMB to set up a business in China? Thats about 7000 quid, which is quite a lot. Also, in other news, I'm going to finish my manuscript tonight. That's not something you can say everyday is it? And the exciting thing is that I'll probably be able to say it tomorrow as well, cos I probably wont be able to get it done. All good my end of the woods. Tip of the week is that Sweden spells nedews backwards, which is ancient anglo saxon for 'Golly'.
