A View From The Lens: Ronsley and Rochelle's Wedding
http://roysphotographyblog.blogspot.com/2013/03/it-was-wed-13.html
A View From The Lens. Friday, 29 March 2013. Ronsley and Rochelle's Wedding. It was Wed 13.02.2013 and the alarm sounded off at the crack of dawn. Usually this means one of two things: 1) An early start to measure up the men who are volunteering for my PhD project or 2) a sunrise photography session. This day it was neither. I was off to Brisbane to celebrate (and photograph) the wedding of Ronsley and Rochelle Vaz. After the ceremony I had the opportunity to photograph Ronsley and Rochelle with their fa...

A View From The Lens. Tuesday, 6 March 2012. The mighty ducks.well not really, but now that I have your attention I would like some feedback. The image below was taken in Bicentennial Park, Homebush. In the original image, the water was a toxic radioactive green. But i really liked the composition of the photo. In the end i decided a black and white edit might work. what do you think? http://roysphotographyblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/hi-all-i-recently-headed-out-for.html
A View From The Lens. Friday, 3 May 2013. Swansea Headlands - Two photos, ten minutes, two distinct images. I recently headed out for a photography session with Kane. We decided to try out a new location - Swansea Headlands, Lake Macquarie. Over the next 10 minutes the light changed rapidly. The following image was taken just over 10 mins after the image above. An amazing change in the scenery. So which photo do you prefer? Pop a comment below and let me know why you prefer one over the other.

A View From The Lens: April 2013
http://roysphotographyblog.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
A View From The Lens. Saturday, 27 April 2013. An Icon of Newcastle - The Rotunda. I was recently asked to capture a photograph of the Rotunda at King Edward Park, an iconic Newcastle structure. Naturally, I was quite excited when I was approached and I gladly accepted the job. Oddly enough I had never thought of photographing the Rotunda, so I viewed the job as a good opportunity to expand my portfolio. Pop a comment below and let me know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A View From The Lens: February 2013

A View From The Lens. Sunday, 17 February 2013. Afternoon Delight - Redhead Beach. Twenty Thirteen has already been a big year of photography (and we're only 2 months in). I recently set up my own photography business (Elroy Aguiar Photography) and have already completed a few jobs (WINNING), despite not having advertised at all. It seems that word of mouth is a great advertising tool. I also purchased a new camera (Canon 5D mkII), which quite frankly kicks butt! What do you think about these images?

A View From The Lens. Friday, 28 December 2012. The Bogey Hole, Newcastle. Twenty Twelve has raced by! Over the past few months I've struggled to get out and do as much photography as I would have liked to. Fortunately, my mate Kane came back for a weekend in December, and this meant two things 1) a sunrise photography session, and 2) breakfast and coffee. We decided to photograph a new location, the Bogey Hole. Rock platform at the Bogey Hole, Newcastle. The Bogey Hole, Newcastle. Other Blogs I Read.

A View From The Lens. Thursday, 11 October 2012. Paradise on the central coast - Somersby Falls. It's amazing how you can live in one place for over 20 years and not realise that a piece of paradise is located merely an hour away. When i visited Somersby Falls earlier this year (check out my previous blog post. I managed to capture a variety of shots. I was pretty stoked with what I managed to capture, but I knew there was still plenty more to discover. On the 1st October, 2012, Kane. So there you have i...
