Buffets are not my friend. First WIAW →. Yep, I’m that girl…. July 11, 2012. Terrible day at work yesterday. Do you ever get those days where everything just gets on top of you and you feel like you can’t cope? I guess there’s always one emotionally unstable person at work, and I’m that girl for my office! On a brighter note My early morning run. My comfortable pace is around 8mins30secs so this really was good for me. Posted in Life as a business analyst. July 11, 2012 at 9:14 pm. I really enjoy trying new recipes and eating good food. I first started cooking with my dad just before going to university (to encourage my survival! And realised how much I enjoyed it – especially healthy, nutritious meals. 8221; But it’s always worth it in the end. As I mentioned, at the start of 2012 I began a new job. So that’s me! You ar...

A Confidence Boosting Weekend – Tiny Runner
http://www.tinyrunner.org.uk/a-confidence-boosting-weekend
IT'S ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE. HOPEFULLY! A Confidence Boosting Weekend. A Confidence Boosting Weekend. Middot; by tinyrunner85. Middot; in Race Report. The training plan has been picked and the goal race has been chosen. I’ve announced to the world my goal. So whilst starting the plan a little unnerved, I knew it wouldn’t be too long before things started to click into place….I just didn’t think it would be this soon……. I was determined to get a PB despite the miles already in my legs. One of the selling ...

Tales of a bald runner. Centurion Autumn 100 a cross to bear. October 25, 2016. There have been a lot of blogs over the past week from people who completed or didn’t complete this years A100. Blogs from experienced and first time 100 competitors. It’s taken a while for me to get my thoughts together, mainly because I had Abingdon marathon 7 days later and was trying to get my head round how I was going to get through that. This was my first proper 100 mile race. In June I did the 24 hour Trackathon.
A great week to be a Penny Lane Strider! | Running up those hills
https://runningupthosehills.com/2015/05/17/a-great-week-to-be-a-penny-lane-strider
Running up those hills. Ready to set the pace →. A great week to be a Penny Lane Strider! May 17, 2015. I have had an awesome week full of awesome running with awesome people! Considering that there were only about 230 runners in total, that’s pretty great going from PLS. I haven’t done a 5k since my last parkrun which was the day before the Liverpool Half in March. I took that easy, so my last flat-out parkrun was when I PB-ed at Widnes Parkrun. Anyway, Holly was ok and I finished in 23.54! We scrub up ...

Running through life, drinking as much tea as possible. September 11, 2016. Teacups & Trainers. Compare and despair. Good phrase, that. Got my therapist to thank for that one. Next year – barring disaster – I will be running my first marathon. And swimming in open water, followed by cycling, followed by a run isn’t something most sane people. To do for fun. So why do I already feel like they aren’t. What’s that compared to the Ironman that George. Amongst others have smashed out? I know that everybody ha...

Running up those hills. Ready to set the pace. Round up of races →. Rock n Roll Liverpool Half Marathon – pacing duties. June 14, 2015. That was SO much fun! One of the other highlights was the Penny Lane water station. The route this year changed slightly from last year and included a little run up Penny Lane, with Penny Lane by The Beatles playing on loud speaker. I admit, I did feel a little bit emotional at this point! Here we are at mile 12! We headed out with our medals and found the BEER! This ent...

Running up those hills. Round up of races. Parkrun tourism →. Sefton Park 5 Miler. July 23, 2015. I think this race will become a frequent feature on my race calendar! It was the first race I ran as a member of Penny Lane Striders last year. So I knew I would be doing it again this year. It’s also just around the corner from my house so I have no excuse really. With my race face on! The route is 2 laps around Sefton Park, so there were some good race photos taken! Keeping my head up high! I pushed really...

Having my PB&J and eating it too. Easter Recap and Weight Loss. Two posts in one week? Look at me goooo. Not promising I’ll blog as much as I used to, but I’m definitely going to be updating more regularly. Especially with wedding details! Speaking of wedding, for those of you who missed it, I’m engaged to this wonderful man:. You can read about the engagement here. Color coordinating like a dooork. Running up those hills. A great week to be a Penny Lane Strider! Rock n Roll Liverpool Half Marathon – pacing duties →. Ready to set the pace. June 13, 2015. In return for volunteering to pace, I’ve been given some CEP sports kit. Including their latest compression socks. And also try the straps that we will be racing in with our flags in the back of, indicating our race times. Running down the steps with Annabeth. Group photo (I’m on the far left! Having my PB&J and eating it too. Oh hello, just casually popping by after NOT BLOGGING IN A THOUSAND YEARS. I swear I can feel cobwebs and hear crickets in my little corner of the web, but I’m here to change that! Last time I posted here I had just gotten LASIK, which is absolutely mind-numbingly awesome by the wayand also feels like an entire lifetime ago. Public Banana, just for you Meghan. I did manage to squeeze in a nice dinner with my family that weekend too. We clean up pretty nice, ey? Yup, welc...

Monday, 17 August 2015. Food Mimic - Chocolate Molten Cake. This one had a few names, in Geneva, it was called warm Swiss chocolate cake, and in Dubai it was called hot chocolate fondant. I've always known it as chocolate lava cake, or chocolate molten cake. So here are the ones from Geneva and Dubai, respectively:. Well, that was a huge mistake. Sadly, there is a bit of gooey goodness in the middle, but what I really ended up with was moist, squashed chocolate cake:. Links to this post. It is a little t...

May 14, 2015. We saw some boys running around with containers of some sort of fried ball thing, so we followed the smell to an Asian food stall, where we were given a sample of “Bang bang chicken”. It smelled good, tasted good, but more importantly, it was food. So we bought a large container of it (half of which was filled with mediocre fried rice) and chowed down. Big mistake. If you ever make your way to Camden Town for the market, and you’re feeling hungry, power on. I settled for paella. May 13, 2015.

The life of a girl who loves apples and running. A parkrun “almost” and a doggie day trip. May 18, 2015. The mood of a Monday morning couldn’t be more perfectly demonstrated than the current weather of where I am in the South of England: rain and wind. Well, at least the weekend was nice and sunny. It’s not like I could enjoy the weather anyway as I’m at work! Saturday morning I went to parkrun as normal. Setting up in the morning. It was lovely and sunny! He clearly regretted it immediately as he swum t...

Innan sången blev tyst i hans dödssjuka bröst and hans levnad blev sorgsen and tung. Ja, herregud vad tiden går! Jag har varit i Turi...
