Thursday, 29 January 2009. I hated Brussels there for a while. No information about anything ANYWHERE! Seriously, this is supposed to be the EU capital, how hard is it to smack up a bunch of signs at the central station to show lost tourists (and me) where the f*ck the buses are? Or the elevators for that sake! Oh well, after being lost for about an hour I finally arrived to the house only to discover that I had to climb about 95 steps in narrow steps with my heave suitcases. And oh no, no elevator!

Monday, 3 August 2009. I received a letter from my Japanese host-family today. In Japanese. What first surprised me, was the small patch of Velcro that they had sent with the letter…? What surprised me second was that I actually understood about 1/3 of the letter at the first reading, apparently I’ve learnt quite a lot, yay! Göteborg och det här. Ny bostadsort, nytt jobb och en del nya vänner. Det är mycket nytt, det är mycket fantastiskt och det är mycket. Jag har fått lämna en del gammalt skräp som jag är ytterst tacksam för samt fått lämna en del underbara människor och minnen som jag inte är ett dugg tacksam för. Men min flytt är ett faktum och jag är otroligt glad att få leva lite i en del av min dröm.
