Anna Wagner-Ott’s website. Anna Wagner-Ott's Explorations in Encaustic. Lisa Pressman’s Workshop. June 18, 2015. June 18, 2015. Throughout the workshop Lisa came around to discuss the notion of intent What am I trying to say through my works? I shared my thoughts on what I would like to achieve in my works. I would like to use formalism as a way to describe my state of being in relation to the landscape in a non-objective way. 2 thoughts on “ Lisa Pressman’s Workshop. June 30, 2015 at 9:48 pm. Encaustic, Paper, Plaster on Canvas – Encaustic Adventures

Anna Wagner-Ott’s website. Anna Wagner-Ott's Explorations in Encaustic. Encaustic, Paper, Plaster on Canvas. January 30, 2015. January 30, 2015. I still am experimenting with different surface techniques on 12″ X 12″ canvases. I started thinking about what different surfaces I could use to paint on? Encaustic and Collaged Papers, 12″ X 12″. The next piece I added plaster strips in the channels and then used the coloured wax to paint over the surface and then added oil paint for the last layer of paint.

My first weekend « Family Goes Vegan

Our 21 day vegan cleanse…and beyond. I got through Friday night with no wine. If Shawn had brought a bottle home, there is NO WAY I would have had the willpower to say no. But, he had agreed not to and followed through so I was so thankful. It was a rough night with the cravings for wine and junk food. But I made it through and was so proud of myself. Behind me this morning, Shawn is playing hide and seek with the kids. We will take them all for a walk in the woods this afternoon. Back at it. Day 1.
