I can resist everything except temptation'. Not sure he was talking about quilt fabric or cupcakes,. Just spent a very happy Saturday in Saltaire. Ready for its grand opening on. Stash-wise, this is very bad news . . . Lesley has several lovely things that are sure to end up. In my over-stuffed fabric drawer -. KFC on Bingley Road, Saltaire.

I love reading other people's creative blogs - hope you enjoy mine. Monday, 27 September 2010. First Quilt - driven by the arrival of a cute little boy. Nearly five months old in this pic - and very cute. Seen here admiring his new quilt at close quarters and making a few helpful suggestions. The stitching's a bit uneven in parts, Grandma.'. Cleo posing near her picture - and not a bad likeness, though I say it myself. Quilt designed using Electric Quilt software - marvellous! Hand-quilted by Yours Truly.

Art C Girlz: March 2014
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 12, 2014. We finally made creative girls! We canceled our February meeting so the Creative Girl quilts were delayed. as a group project. Some of us couldn't wait, so there were a few finished "girls" at the March meeting. Susan's "Buffalo Gal" even has a great pair of boots! Some of the embellishments are singles of earrings lost. GREAT idea! Mary Ellen's "Prom Girl" has ruffles made from a color run of hand dyed fabric. Mary Ellen thinks she needs to practice to make her faces better.

Art C Girlz: July 2013
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 15, 2013. A very fond farewell. Sadly, one of our favorite ArtCGirlz is relocating in August. We all wanted to show her how much we will miss her, so we had a little party at TF Brown's. Mary was the only one who had show and tell- another piece inspired by Anne Brauer. She used the batik strip at the bottom as her color inspiration. Mary also shared some information on Tapping. Additional information can be found at these sites. Http:/ www.emofree.com/. Http:/ eft.mercola.com/. Mary wore a ...

Art C Girlz: January 2015
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. Not much to show. At the January meeting most of us were working on our challenge projects to be presented at the guild meeting on Saturday- four days later. So here's what was shown at the meeting- except for Martha's sock. Kathi was pondering how to add the challenge fabric to this. She played with a picture of a flower none of us could name and had Julie print it for her. The background wasn't gold- that is paint Kathi added. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Urn Quilt Evolves.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Dollar store and Sharpie art! Our July meeting was very relaxing and enjoyable for all who attended. We welcomed Mary back from her sojourn in Ohio. She wowed us with her quilting on her bargello piece, from a class with Marija Vujcic. Last spring. Mary isn't sure she loves the Yellow, but she did come up with a great name for it- "Yellow, yellow, it's Bargello! On the back, the quilting might show up better- it's pretty amazing! There is a lot of great quilting on there! Everyone...

Art C Girlz: May 2014
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Well, lookie what I found- a draft of the post from April- never finished. Obviously my fellow artc's are too polite to ask what happened to it! OK, now I know why I never finished it- for some reason this post is very stubborn and I gave up trying to place things where I want them. If anyone knows how to over ride or overcome these issues, please share! Anyway, here is what happened at our April meeting. Lori is enjoying doing landscapes, including her sasquatch projects. Chris no...
